- Gremio of Brazil has completed the deal for Luis Suarez on a two years deal.
- The forward, who had 191 games and 147 goals for FC Barcelona, has committed to the team for two years.
Reportminds Blog understands that Suárez has declined offers from MLS and Saudi clubs to join Brazilian team Gremio. Number 9 will be a Uruguayan.
After eight years, the forward left Spain in 2022 to play for Nacional in his native Uruguay, where he scored eight goals in fourteen games.
If you recall, he participated in all of Uruguay's games at the Qatar World Cup 2022, but he was held scoreless.
The club confirmed the news via their official Twitter account, in which they said: “He’s here! One of the greatest in the history of Uruguay, Luis Suárez arrives at the Tricolor to continue his illustrious career, now wearing our shirt! goal-scorer, multiple-champion, cup winner and fighter! Welcome Luisito!”
At his best, Suarez won triple in Barcelona. He also contributed to Atletico Madrid winning the LaLiga championship.
