Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw against Everton at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday Premier League clash.
Erling Haaland gave Manchester City the lead after a strong start in the opening quarter of the game.
The match was tense, and just before halftime, Haaland was booked for a strong challenge; many Everton players felt that he should have been sent off. When the technology for the assistant referee malfunctioned in the second half, City's momentum was broken.
Following the restart of the match, Demarai Gray equalized for the visitors by taking advantage of a Rodri error. The champions made a strong effort to win the game, but Frank Lampard's team held on to earn a respectable point.
