
Former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero took to his social media platform to reveal that he Lionel Messi will win best player at Qatar World Cup.
The retired 34-year-old striker said that he had astonishing prediction that Argentina's Lionel Messi would win the World Cup Golden Ball.


The PSG forward finally won football's most prestigious trophy after Argentina defeated France 4-2 in a penalty shootout in the final on Sunday.

His former teammate, Aguero, shared a bet he had placed in November, and he was present throughout the competition to support the national team.
Before publishing a screenshot of the wager, Aguero acknowledged to his Instagram followers that he had only "just realised" what he had staked.
'On November 17, I bet that the best player in the World Cup would be Messi and I just realized it,' the former Manchester City striker wrote.

The screenshot shared by Aguero revealed that the former star placed a wager of $1001 (£823) prior to the start of the World Cup on Messi receiving the award.
The PSG forward finished the season with seven goals and three assists, earning him the title of tournament player of the year.
If Messi were to win the award, Aguero's wager would have paid out a whopping $8264 (£6,800).
Meanwhile Sergio Aguero was there for Argentina's World Cup campaign and helped his teammates on and off the field.
The former Barcelona striker was a part of the celebrations that lasted all night in Doha after Argentina's historic penalty shootout victory over France.
