Cristiano Rodrguez's girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, has spoken about what she calls "the most complicated" year of her life.
According to the 28-year-old model and mother of three, What was supposed to be the "happiest moment" of the year "became the saddest" following the tragic death of her infant son this year.
The model, who was 28 years old at the time, was expecting twins with Ronaldo, a man who was 37 years old at the time; however, the baby boy passed away during birth.
Reportminds Blog understands that their baby girl, Bella Esmeralda, made it through, but she fell ill three months later and had to be hospitalized, which made things even more difficult for the Ronaldo family.
Appearing in the January issue of Elle Spain, she said: "This year has been the most complicated of my life, the happiest moment became both the saddest.
"It is something that will accompany me for life and that we will not be able to forget."
The family also includes Alana, Ronaldo's five-year-old daughter, and twins Eva and Mateo, his 12-year-old son.
The Argentine also opened up about her relationship with soccer star Ronaldo.
She asserts that her association with the 819 career-goal forward has assisted her in achieving a number of her objectives, but she maintains that she possessed the same drive and hunger prior to the wealth and fame.
She said: "Cristiano and I fell in love at first sight, when I saw him for the first time I felt that time stopped.
"I have never seen a man so handsome, so attentive... he is the most handsome man my eyes have ever seen.
"And yes, I am the girlfriend of the best soccer player in the world, but it is not necessary for people –and many of them women– to use it in a derogatory way.
"Clearly my relationship with him has allowed me to fulfil many of my dreams, but always, both before and after meeting him, I have put the same passion in everything I have done... Being a cleaner, salesperson or model."
