Riyad Mahrez has offered his reaction to Manchester City's 4-0 carabao victory over Liverpool this evening, which saw the defending champions eliminated.
Manchester City got off to a quick start as Guardiola started players like De Bruyne, Rodri, Gundongan, Mahrez, and Haaland. Haaland scored from De Bruyne's assist to give them the lead, their intensity being higher than that of Liverpool.
Carvalho made an easy substitution for Liverpool. Mahrez's brilliant goal doubled Manchester City's lead before Salah scored an equalizer, and Nathan Ake, who missed Salah's goal, scored the winner to send Man City to the round of eight.
He said: "I don't know who's left [in the Carabao Cup], we beat Chelsea and Liverpool”
