Manchester United are in the market looking for a new centre back as Erik Den Hag hopes to revamp his squad in the January window.

Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae has emerged as a prime target for Manchester United, who are open to allow Harry Maguire leave the Old Trafford stadium.
The English international doesn't seem to be in plan of Dutch boss who wants another defender.

Erik ten Hag appears to be busy bolstering Man Utd's roster this January and making preparations for the summer by reviving the Red Devils' interest in a former target.
In an effort to strengthen his defense at Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag is said to have planned a summer raid for Kim Min-Jae of Napoli.
The South Korean center-performances back's for the Italian powerhouses since moving there from Fenerbahce have not gone unnoticed, and the Red Devils have been connected with him for some time. He's only been working at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona since July, but he brilliantly filled the void left by Kalidou Koulibaly, who departed for Chelsea.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Ten Hag prioritized a move for a striker in January in response to Cristiano Ronaldo's explosive departure from Old Trafford ahead of the start of the transfer window. This move has already been scheduled for the summer of 2023.
It is alleged that in order for the Red Devils - or any other interested party for that matter - to have any chance of a deal, they would have to pay the €44 million (£38 million) release clause presently included in the defender's contract. It's interesting to note that Kim has previously commented on his future, as rumors about him starting to surface during the World Cup, and he was eager to put an end to any rumors.
In any case, a significant overhaul in defense is anticipated in thr January transfer window. It is unclear at this point whether the Red Devils will be successful in landing the South Korean in a few months. Ten Hag's preferred duo is Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.
