Neymar was sent off, but Kylian Mbappé saved Paris Saint-Germain with a late penalty to snatch a 2-1 victory over Strasbourg.
Marquinhos opened the scoring by breaking liberated from his marker and heading in Neymar's cross following 14 minutes.
However, in the 51st minute, the Brazilian defender diverted Adrien Thomasson's cross into his own net to keep the score level.
After being pulled inside the box, Kylian Mbappé was the hero, scoring a penalty six minutes into overtime.
At Parc des Princes, Neymar received his marching orders in the 62nd minute after receiving two bookings in a matter of seconds; the first for a foul, and a minute later, the second for diving.
Neymar will be suspended for Sunday's match at second-place Lens because it was his fifth red card since joining PSG in 2017 for a world record fee of €222 million ($236 million).
Turpin decided to give Neymar a second yellow card for diving in the penalty box one minute after he received one for a foul in the second half.
After the referee sent him off in the second half, the former Barcelona forward was seen charging Clement Turpin.
In the mean time the triumph implies that PSG top the standings with 44 points, eight clear from second placed Lens who have a game at hand. While Strasbourg is in 19th place.
