Former Argentina forward, Sergio Aguero was pictured lifting the FIFA World Cup trophy with the team.

If you recall that the Albiceleste claimed the 2022 edition of the World Cup in Qatar after their hard fought victory against France.

Lionel Messi, who is the captain of the Argentina national team played a key role in their triumph in competition.

Although, Lionel Scaloni side suffered 2-1 defeat to Saudi Arabia in their opening game of FIFA World Cup.

But they bounced back with back to back victories which saw them advance to the knockout stages and final.

On Sunday, Lionel Messi led Argentina to World Cup victory by upsetting the defending champions France 4-2 on penalties after an exciting 120-minute 3-3 draw.

It was France who came from two goals from Kylian Mbappe in rapid succession with less than ten minutes left in the game.

In the extra period, both sides scored again, but the Albiceleste prevailed 4-2 on penalties to win the shootout.

Former Manchester City and Barcelona forward, Sergio Aguero was snapped lifting the trophy with the team during celebration.

Reportminds Blog understands that Aguero has been with the team in Qatar during the competition.

The retired Argentina player showed his support for his national team.
