Oleksandr Zinchenko, a defender for Arsenal, supports Eddie Nketiah to fill the vacuum left by Gabriel Jesus.
On Boxing Day, Mikel Arteta's team, which now leads Manchester City by five points, will open the second half of their schedule at home against West Ham.
At the 2022 World Cup, Jesus had a knee injury while playing for Brazil against Cameroon.
The 25-year-old has since had surgery, which will put him out of commission for a while.
Nketiah, according to Zinchenko, can step up and support Arsenal's continued pursuit of the Premier League championship in the second half of the season.
“I have no doubts that Nketiah is going to do his job amazingly and everyone trusts him.
“We have such a great group of people. We have this feeling of togetherness,” Zinchenko told the club’s website.
Although Mikel Arteta has been suggested to sign another striker to replace the injured striker, Gabriel Jesus.
Arsenal will face West Ham on Boxing day, December 26th. The game is expected to kick off at 9pm GMT.
The Gunners have been impressive with their form so far in the season, sitting on top of the league with 37 points.
Arsenal have just lost one match, against Manchester United and a draw against Southampton
