34-year-old Brazilian, Marcelo visits his former club Real Madrid (Photos)

Real Madrid players were excited after former player, Marcelo paid them a courtesy visit on Friday afternoon. 

Marcelo paid a visit to the group at Real Madrid Sport City.

Before they began their first practice in anticipation of Sunday's trip to San Mamés, the 34-year-old Brazilian met Ancelotti and the teammates.

With a total of 25 trophies, Marcelo is the Real Madrid player who has won the most championships in the team's history.

Real Madrid are currently preparing for their weekend La Liga clash with Athletic Bilbao away from home. 

Marcelo who is currently playing at Olympiacos of Greece, took some time out to check on his former club mates. 

The flying full back posed with his former manager Carlo Ancelotti in the series of snaps shared on Real Madrid website. 

Marcelo also met his former team mate, Karim Benzema and Luka Modric. 

If you recall that the 34-year-old defender left the Santiago Bernabéu last season after nearly a decade. 

Marcelo signed a deal with Greek Champions, Olympiacos as a free agent after his contract expiration.
