After completing a spectacular transfer to the Saudi Arabian club earlier this month, things haven't quite gone according to plan for the Portuguese superstar. Close rivals Al-Ittihad eliminated Garcia's league leaders from the Saudi Super Cup on Thursday, with skipper Ronaldo blanked once more after his goalless start last Sunday.

The team's manager was forthright about what he saw to be wrong with the Portuguese superstar's absorption into the group. In addition to saying Ronaldo's posture was too similar to teammate Anderson Talisca's, Garcia criticized his colleagues for passing to him too frequently.

Ronaldo decided to join the Saudi Arabian club after discovering that no European team was willing to extend him a contract in the summer of 2016. The player's alternatives were constrained because of his high pay expectations, declining field performance, and growing age.

In his shocking interview with Piers Morgan, he revealed that he had split up with Manchester United amicably in November.
