Arsene Wenger, a legendary former Arsenal coach, called his emotional return to Arsenal "fantastic" and thinks Mikel Arteta's team has what it takes to end their nearly 20-year Premier League title drought.
After 22 mostly successful years in charge, the club's illustrious former manager left under somewhat of a cloud in the summer of 2018.
Afterward, Wenger was seen interacting with some well-known people and others, including Saka, who had never had the opportunity to spend time in his company.
Asked what it mean to be back after such a lengthy absence, Wenger told Tv2: ‘It was fantastic. But I don’t want to talk too much about that.’
On whether the Gunners can win the Premier League title, he said: ‘It was a fantastic display (against West Ham). Arsenal gets stronger and stronger. It was one way traffic.
‘I think they have all the necessary ingredients, both tactically and mentally. They can go all the way.
‘Because, as you see, they create so many chances. I actually see no weaknesses.’
Arsenal have opened seven point gap on top of the Premier League table with 4-2 win over Brighton Hove Albion on New Year's day.
The Gunners took advantage of Manchester City's draw with Everton earlier in the day.
