Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala scored and created an assist as Barcelona thrashed Sevilla.
At the Johan Cruyff Stadium, Asisat Oshoala scored and assisted as Barcelona Femeni defeated Sevilla 4-0.
Claudia Pina sent the ball to Oshoala, who successfully evaded the defender before firing a shot into the goal for her fourth in as many games.
Oshoala returned the favor by cutting the ball back for Claudia Pina to score in the 34th minute by racing down the right (2-0).
Prior to the second goal, Oshoala had two chances to score. The first effort was blocked by the goalkeeper, while the second shot hit the post.
Oshoala almost provided another assist with a beautifully weighted pass into the box in the 36th minute, but Patri's header almost missed the goal.
Oshoala received the ball from Claudia Pina in the 45th minute after she had sped down the right, but it was just out of reach. In the ensuing goalmouth melee, Oshoala and Mariona pushed the ball into the defender's arm. A Barca penalty was awarded just before halftime, but Claudia Pina's attempt hit the post.
Barcelona began the second half under heavy pressure, much like the first. Mariona Caldentay's shot just missed the post in the 51st minute.
In the 64th minute, Barcelona made three introductions: Salma Paralleluo, Aitana, and Marta Torrejon.
