Liverpool star Andy Robertson deserved a red card for dangerous tackle on Adama Traore in their FA Cup tie. 

After making a risky tackle on Adama Traore during Saturday's match between Liverpool and Wolves, Andy Robertson has angered the crowd.

Wolves and Liverpool played to a dramatic 2-2 tie at Anfield in the third round of the FA Cup.

Goncalo Guedes scored after Alisson made a terrible error, and Darwin Nunez leveled the score just before halftime.

With a skillful finish, Mohamed Salah gave his team the lead. However, the visitors responded through Hwang Hee-chan, and were then denied a victory when Toti Gomes' goal was controversially disallowed by VAR.

Following Robertson's reckless challenge on Traore in the match's dying moments, some fans online believe Liverpool was fortunate to escape with a yellow card.

Ibrahima Konate's challenge caused the Wolves striker to fall to the ground, and the Scottish left-back attempted to leap over the injured rival.

Fans were stunned that he wasn't given a red card after failing and colliding grimly with Traore's face.

Andy Madley, the match official, didn't even flash the Liverpool star a yellow card because he was spared any penalty.

The repeat, which is anticipated to take place later this month, will have Robertson available.
