Brighton reportedly turned down Spurs' offer of approximately £12 million because, according to Leandro Trossard's agent, the wantaway star is not speaking with manager Roberto De Zerbi.

Trossard has praised the player's attitude and work ethic since he returned from the Belgium World Cup, which has led to a public spat between the manager and De Zerbi.
After Trossard's agent Josy Comhair stated that his client wants to leave the club, The Athletic claims that Spurs have made a verbal offer. However, Brighton's valuation of the player is thought to be significantly higher than their proposed fee of £12 million.
Chelsea has also shown interest in the winger, who has scored seven goals in 16 league games this season.
Trossard, who is thought to be back in Belgium, hasn't played for the club since 2023. He skipped training before De Zerbi gave him permission, so he wasn't in his team's 3-0 win over Liverpool.

De Zerbi's time at Brighton appears to be coming to an end, but it's not clear if he can leave during the January transfer window.
If that does not take place, De Zerbi has stated that he would welcome the player back.
