Charlie Patino, an Arsenal loanee, scored a consolation goal as Blackpool fell to Southampton 2-1 in an FA Cup fourth-round matchup on Saturday.
Patino, who is having a breakout season in the center of the Championship team's midfield, managed to contribute to a fifth direct goal this season.
The 19-year-old is highly regarded at the Emirates Stadium, and the Gunners recently exercised the player's option for a two-year contract extension even though they want to shortly enter into long-term contract negotiations.
Patino will be hoping that Arteta would immediately include him in his plans before the 2023–24 season thanks to his outstanding growth at Bloomfield Road.
