Chelsea agree to Atletico Madrid terms to sign Joao Felix which includes payment of his full salary for next 6 months

According to The Athletic, Chelsea and Joao Felix have verbally agreed that Felix will join them on loan from Atletico Madrid. 

Felix is a Portugal international who have attracted interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd. 

Reportminds Blog understands can confirm that the Blues are leading the race to sign Felix. 

Chelsea are anticipated to spend roughly €11 million (£9.7m) to acquire Felix on loan for the remainder of the season.

Graham Potter's team dropped to 10th position in the Premier League standings and was eliminated from the FA Cup on Sunday after suffering a 4-0 beating at the hands of Manchester City. Chelsea has already been busy in the January transfer market, bringing in Benoit Badiashile and Davide Datro Fofana.

Felix has struggled to live up to his €127 million (£112 million/$135 million) price tag while at Atletico. 

Only four La Liga goals have been scored by the Portuguese so far this season, and the Rojiblancos have acknowledged that the forward will probably leave the team in January.
