
In remembrance of Gianluca Vialli, Chelsea players warmed up wearing the No. 9 jersey before their FA Cup match against Manchester City.
Chelsea will be hoping to redeem themselves with a win over City in their FA Cup clash after losing 1-0 during the week in Premier League game.
On Sunday evening at the Etihad Stadium, the Blues were spotted warming up while donning a unique shirt.
If you recall, The ex-Italy International lost his battle with pancreatic cancer and died on January 6, 2023, at the age of 58.
Prior to taking on the role of player-manager in 1998, Vialli had previously played for Juventus. During his time at Stamford Bridge, Vialli won the FA Cup, League Cup, Cup Winners' Cup, and UEFA Super Cup.
Meanwhile, Graham Potter side are currently sitting in 10th position in the Premier League table. Chelsea have been struggling with results in their recent games.
