Deadline Day Transfer: Arsenal's 19 years old forward Marquinhos joins Norwich

Marquinhos, a young player from Arsenal, has signed a loan deal with Norwich. The teen winger will finish the season at Carrow Road.

The Brazilian, who is 19 years old, will stay with the Canaries for the rest of 2022-23 as they try to get promoted out of the Championship and back into the Premier League.

If you recall, Marquinhos switched from Sao Paulo to Arsenal and signed a long-term contract there.

The 19-year-old has made six competitive appearances for the Arsenal, scoring on his debut against FC Zurich in the Europa League.

Marquinhos will wear the number 13 jersey at Norwich and will see his former Sao Paulo teammate Gabriel Sara again in Norfolk as he tries to get regular game time that will help him grow.

When they host league leaders Burnley on Saturday at home, Marquinhos could make his debut for his new club. The Championship standings have Norwich at position 6.
