“I’m happy here and I intend to stay here" - Roberto Firmino hints at Liverpool stay despite a year left on his contract

Roberto Frimino has revealed his intention to remain with Liverpool despite his contract left with a year. 

There are suggestions that the Brazilian has been offered a short term deal with lower wages at Anfield. 

While his current contract's final months dwindle menacingly, Roberto Firmino is still without an extension.

Although, Frimino is yet to make his decision but There are worries around Anfield that the beloved Brazilian might be nearing the end of his Merseyside tenure as the additions of Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, and Cody Gakpo in the past year signaling the evolution of the Liverpool attack and manager Jurgen Klopp coming under fire for being too loyal to the old guard.

The possibility that FSG can come up with a plan to keep the Reds' co-leading scorer in the Premier League thus far this season with the team is still alive. 

At least Firmino appears to think that a solution may be found: “It’s incredible playing high-level football here with great players, stars of the game,” Firmino admitted in the latest issue of the official Liverpool magazine.

“I’m happy here and I intend to stay here and help Liverpool FC.”
