Milan Skriniar is expected to join PSG this summer after agreeing to a pre-contract with the team.
However, PSG will allegedly make an effort to sign his 27-year-old defender in January as a result of injuries to many other squad defenders.
Given the absence of Presenel Kimpembe and the inconsistent play of Danilo Pereira, PSG is lacking at center-back.
After signing a deal, the Inter center back is scheduled to join the Ligue 1 champions in June.
However, it is said that the team would make an effort to sign Skriniar earlier in the hopes of persuading Inter to offload their top player soon.
Inter is holding out for a €20 million ($22 million/£17.5 million) bid and is hesitant to sell before the winter transfer window shuts. According to reports, Skriniar and PSG reached a personal agreement last summer, but Inter prevented any prospective transfer.
Meanwhile, Skriniar have confirmed that he has put pen to paper with an agreement with PSG. He said: “Yes, it’s true — I have signed with PSG”.
The defender revealed that he will be waiting for PSG and Intern Milan to conclude.
“I’m waiting for the clubs to reach an agreement”, Škriniar added in interview reported by Futbolsfz.
