For the first time since his transfer to Arsenal was officially announced, Jorginho was spotted wearing his new uniform.

The photo of the former Napoli midfielder standing with his agent, Joao Santos, was later released on a deadline day.
On his agent's Instagram account, a picture of Jorginho wearing an Arsenal jersey for the first time has surfaced.

Gunners fans got their first glimpse of their potential new player in a leaked photo, and the Italian was the subject of a deadline day switch from Chelsea to London rivals Arsenal on a £12 million deal. He is expected to wear the No. 20.

Jorginho has passed his medical exams and is ready to sign a deal with Arsenal that would keep him there through June 2024 with an option to extend until 2025.

According to Reportminds Blog, Jorginho was acquired by Arsenal for £10 million + £2 million.

The Brazilian-born midfielder was brought in to help out his new team's midfield after Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka proved to be a productive duo during the club's surprising championship bid this season.

Even though the duo has mainly avoided injuries this season, back-up Mohamed Elneny will be out for some time due to a knee issue.
In the 1-0 loss to Manchester City, the Ghanaian midfielder also suffered a rib injury. He was replaced at halftime as a result, but he is anticipated to be available for selection in Saturday's match against Everton.

Jorginho's contract at Chelsea has six months left, but the Gunners were eager to sign him in January.

In 2018–19, Jorginho triumphed in the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup, and defeated Arsenal to win the Europa League.
