On January 11, the Argentinian superstar assisted PSG's second goal in their 2-0 victory over Angers.
Ronaldo, who signed a two-year contract with the Saudi Arabian team, presently has five more club goals than Messi (701 total), having started his career with five goals for Sporting Lisbon.
In 778 appearances for the Catalan team, Messi has only scored for Barcelona and PSG. In other words, he's played 86 less games to achieve the 696 total.
Ronaldo scored 118 goals for Man United during his first season there, 450 goals for Real Madrid, 101 goals for Juventus, and 27 goals for Man United on his second visit to Old Trafford.
In France, Messi will have many chances to score and continue the form that got Argentina to the World Cup. In 20 games this season, he has scored 13 goals, eight of which have come in Ligue 1.
