Manchester United have announced the signing of Jack Butland as a back up goalkeeper.

Reportminds Blog understands that, Until the end of the 2022–23 season, England goalkeeper Jack Butland will be on loan at Manchester United from Crystal Palace, the club announced on Friday morning.

Although, it's uncertain if Jack Butland will be able in Manchester United FA Cup game against Everton.
Jack Butland's shirt number can now be revealed by Manchester United for the Reds.
The newcomer from Crystal Palace has been given the number 31, which was formerly held by former loanee Martin Dubravka, who was recently called up by parent club Newcastle United.
The Reds are scheduled to play Everton in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup this evening when Butland's transfer is announced (Friday 6 January). Jack won't be able to participate in this game, but he'll be rooting for United to win for the fifth time straight match since the start of the season.
At Palace and Stoke City, the 29-year-old wore the number one jersey. In 2013–14, he wore number 30 for Leeds United.
Following Dubravka's loan from the summer of 2022 to December, Jack becomes the third goalkeeper to don no. 31 for the Reds. The only other goalkeeper to don the jersey is Nick Culkin, who wore it in 1998/1999 and 1999/2000.
