Prior to his team's match against Angers in French Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar Jr. paid respect to the late Brazil legendary footballer Pele.
Recall that Edson Arantes Do Nascimento, better known as Pele, who had been battling colon cancer for a long time, passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 82. He was buried in his native Brazil.
In a tweet with the subject line "may God bless and protect us," Neymar Jr. tweeted a picture of Pele's shirt, according to a post by ESPN on their verified Facebook Page.
Reportminds Blog understands that due to a match suspension, this will be Neymar Jr.'s first game since Pele passed away.
If you recall, the ex-Barcelona star missed his team's 3-1 loss to Lens due to a red card he received during Paris Saint-game Germain's against Strasbourg on December 28, 2022.
