PSG are yet to decide future of Sergio Ramos

According to a recent report from L'Équipe, Paris Saint-Germain are still willing to extend Sergio Ramos' current contract, which is good through the end of the current Ligue 1 campaign.

The Spaniard received criticism for his performance against Lens on Sunday night. It was his first defeat while a member of PSG, and it raised concerns about his level of play as he neared the age of 37. The Andalusian found it particularly difficult to handle Belgian forward Lo's Openda.

But the former Real Madrid player has assumed a crucial position in the locker room, setting an example with his professional demeanor and speaking up when necessary. 

The management of the club is aware of this, and a possible one- or two-year renewal has been discussed. The final choice has not yet been made, though, as sports consultant Lus Campos anticipates the World Cup champion to demonstrate his continued effectiveness on the field.
