A 15-point punishment was given to Juventus after a club-related transfer business inquiry.

Juventus was assessed a 15-point penalty by the Federal Court of Appeals after it accepted the FIGC Prosecutor's Office appeal to the ruling concerning the plusvalenza inquiry from last spring.

Numerous sources in the Italian media claim that Juventus would appeal the ruling to the Collegio di Garanzia of CONI.

Juve would drop from third to eleventh in the Serie A standings, joining Serie A powerhouses Bologna and Empoli, based on the 15-point penalty it has been assessed.

The latest step in the ongoing legal mess that has involved Juventus’ capital gains activity came down Friday, as the prosecutor for the Italian Football Federation requested that the Bianconeri be handed a nine-point penalty as punishment for the club’s actions.

On top of FIGC Prosecutor Giuseppe Chiné requesting a nine-point penalty for Juventus that would potentially go into effect this season, he has requested the following penalties for some of the members involved in the investigation

Even though three of those four men are no longer at the club as a result of their respective departures, the Federal Court of Appeals is also requesting longer bans for people like Andrea Agnelli, Fabio Paratici, Federico Cherubini, and Pavel Nedved than originally anticipated, adding another layer to what has suddenly turned into a disaster of a Friday night for the Old Lady.

The Federal Court granted Juventus' request to appeal the first ruling from last spring, and the FIGC Prosecutor's Office revealed late Friday night that they are renewing the capital gains case against them.

The prosecutor for the Italian Football Federation asked that the Bianconeri be given a nine-point penalty as punishment for the club's acts, which was the latest development in the continuing legal saga surrounding Juventus' capital gains activity.

FIGC Prosecutor Giuseppe Chiné has suggested the following punishments for some of the participants in the probe in addition to the nine-point penalty for Juventus that may be implemented this season.
