Despite having a five-point advantage over Manchester City in the League table as the race for the hotly contested Premier League title heats up, the contentious supercomputer has predicted doom for Arsenal.

Arsenal, led by Mikel Arteta, has been in outstanding form this year and has surprised rival fans with their unexpected bid for the Premier League title.

But based on the most recent data from a supercomputer, Manchester City supporters shouldn't be concerned about Arsenal's current five-point lead over them at the top of the Premier League.

Last weekend, when Demarai Gray's incredible equalizer for Everton put them seven points behind Arsenal, City must have been a little concerned.

The difference has now narrowed to five thanks to Newcastle's draw with Mikel Arteta's team, which left the manager furious on the sidelines.

Arsenal are still in good shape despite the draw against a very respectable Newcastle team, who have also defeated Manchester City and Manchester United and narrowly lost to Liverpool.

Their next two league games, against Tottenham Hotspur and United, before hosting City in early February, will really test their current form.

The data firm projects that Guardiola's team will win the league for the third consecutive year with a 50% chance, compared to Arsenal's 42% chance.

Newcastle and Liverpool are each given a mere 2% chance, and the other teams in the league aren't even given that much of a chance.

The current top two are given nearly 100% odds of finishing in the top four and earning a spot in the Champions League for the upcoming season.

Following United, Liverpool and Newcastle are predicted to compete for the final spot, with Jurgen Klopp's team receiving a 48% chance and Eddie Howe's team receiving a 49% chance.

Spurs are only given a 25% chance of finishing in the top four, which is bad news for Antonio Conte's team despite their victory over Crystal Palace in midweek.

Following Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's appalling performance against City, Brighton is given a 14% chance, which is significantly better than Chelsea's nine.

With Southampton, Bournemouth, and Everton predicted to be the bottom three, at least Chelsea isn't predicted to be eliminated.

Thanks to Newcastle's draw with Mikel Arteta's team, which left the manager indignant on the sidelines, the gap has now shrunk to five.

Despite the draw against Newcastle, who also defeated Manchester City and Manchester United and narrowly lost to Liverpool, Arsenal are still in good shape.
