Bayern Munich have expressed their interest in signing Joao Cancelo on a permanent contract.
If you recall that Portugal full back completed the season loan deal to Allianz Arena in the January Window.
It came as a shock move after Cancelo submitted his interest in leaving Etihad Stadium after he fell out with Pep Guardiola.
Although, Cancelo who was an integral part of Pep Guardiola squad at Manchester City hasn't been playing since the end of World Cup.
Cancelo was left on the bench against Arsenal in thr FA Cup tie last week. The defender demanded and explanation from the Spanish boss which later result in burst up.
Bayern Munich director Salihamidzic revealed that the club moved to complete the deal for a player he one admired.
Reportminds Blog understands that Joao Cancelo joined for loan deal with €70m offer to make it permanent.
According to Salihamidzic, the fee is on a high side for the Bavarians but added that both parties could come to an agreement if the player want the move.
Bayern director Salihamidžić on €70m buy option for Cancelo: "We've made clear to Joao that this fee is difficult for us to imagine. But if all sides absolutely want a solution, we can manage it".
"The most important thing is that João feels comfortable in Munich".
