Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has apologized to fans after his team shocking result against Wolverhampton.



The Reds suffered 3-0 defeat to Wolves at the Molineux stadium on Saturday afternoon.

It was a difficult afternoon for Jurgen Klopp side after Joel Matip scored an own goal in the 2nd minutes of the game.

In the 12th minutes, Craig Dawson scored on his debut for Wolves to put Wolves in the comfortable lead.

Ruben Neves added the third goal in the 71st minutes to put more mystery on Liverpool.

The Reds have fallen short so far this term and could finish the season without a trophy.

If you recall that Brighton Hove knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup in the fourth round last week.

After the defeat to Wolves, Klopp said that there is no excuse for his team's performance.

Klopp on Liverpool situation: “There’s no excuse. I can’t explain it — first 15 minutes were horrible. It needs to be changed, I’m sorry”.

The Reds who are below the 10th position will now turn their attention to Everton next week in the Merseyside derby.

Klopp admits that his players need to turn the result around starting from their next game.

He added: “We just need to change it now, there’s no explanation. Change immediately in the next game”.
