Brazilian Legend Ronaldinho confirms his 17 years old son will join Barcelona

Former footballer Ronaldinho has confirmed that his 17-year-old son Mendes will enroll in Barcelona's academy.

Barcelona, the team where Ronaldinho, 42, rose to the top of world football, has announced his son will join.

The great Brazilian confirmed his son would be joining Barcelona, where he holds an ambassadorial role, in an interview with RAC1, which was picked up by Marca.

The club's renowned La Masia academy has welcomed the newest young talent, Joao de Assis Moreira, also known as Joao Mendes.

Joao de Assis Moreira, his 17-year-old son, is currently playing for Cruzeiro in Brazil after spending several weeks in January on trial at Barcelona.
