Hakim Ziyech, a Moroccan striker for Chelsea, posted pictures of himself and his mother having quality time together on social media.
The Chelsea player was captured aboard a private aircraft after playing in Friday night's scoreless Premier League match between Chelsea and Fulham at Stamford Bridge.
Since his last-minute loan deal to Paris Saint-Germain collapsed on the day of the winter transfer deadline, Hakim Ziyech has been in the news frequently.
Prior to the transfer window's closing in the last minutes, Ziyech was just minutes away from signing with PSG.
According to Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea provided the transfer papers without a signature at first, and by the time the Blues sent the right paperwork, the deadline had already past.
The Moroccan international began for Chelsea against Fulham on Friday night despite his transfer dilemma, and was substituted by Raheem Sterling in the 60th minute.
Hakim Ziyech posted on Instagram: "May every tears that has ever fallen from your tired eyes on my behalf become a river for you in Paradise."
