Following Martinez's resignation following the World Cup, the Red Devils have named a replacement.
The new manager of Belgium is Domenico Tedesco, who took over for Roberto Martinez.

The former Schalke manager will now concentrate on preparing Belgium for Euro 2024.

The Red Devils performed poorly at the 2022 World Cup, exiting in the group stage. In three games in Qatar, they only managed one victory. Martinez, who is now the coach of Portugal, left because of their poor performance.

Tedesco, whose contract has been extended through 2024, will make his Belgium debut on March 24 when they travel to Sweden for a Euro qualifier.

First time in his career, the 37-year-old Italian is in charge of a national team. He has primarily coached German clubs, with the exception of a one and a half season stint with Spartak Moscow in Russia. In his final position, which lasted from December 2021 to September 2022, RB Leipzig.

Last year, Tedesco guided Leipzig to their first DFB-Pokal victory, the Europa League semifinals, and a fourth-place Bundesliga finish.
