Luis Enrique wants to sign Ferran Torres for Chelsea once he's appointed their manager

In exchange for his agreement to lead Chelsea, former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique will sign attacker Ferran Torres.

Enrique has emerged as one of the favorites to succeed Antonio Conte as Chelsea's manager, should that position open up at Stamford Bridge.

If Torres joins the Premier League powerhouses, Enrique would be interested in acquiring him from Barcelona, claims Fichajes.

The 2022-2023 Premier League season is currently proving to be difficult for Chelsea.

The Blues are currently ranked ninth in the Premier League standings with 30 points from 21 games.

The team's performances have not significantly improved despite a management change that saw Thomas Tuchel replaced by Graham Potter in September of last year.

Chelsea's performance has not improved under Potter, who has recently been the subject of intense criticism.

In spite of Chelsea spending about €330 million during the recently concluded January transfer window as new co-owner Todd Boehly has been heavily investing in the team, Potter's team has only managed two victories in their last 12 games across all competitions.

Enrique has been mentioned as a potential replacement, but there are growing worries that Potter might be shown the exit door before next season if he fails to turn things around at the west London club.
