Meanwhile, after falling out of favor with ten Hag this season, defense duo Harry Maguire and Alex Telles will be permitted to leave the club.

Maguire, the club captain, has made just nine Premier League games this season, falling behind Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane in the pecking order.

Brazilian full-back Alex Telles just joined the club in 2020, but he appears to be on his way out of Old Trafford permanently.

The ex-Porto defender, who joined United for £15.4 million, made just 50 appearances for the club in the previous two seasons before being loaned out to Sevilla.
