Marcus Rashford and Raphael Varane of Manchester United have come under fire from Michael Owen for how they handled a free-kick against Leeds.
Manchester United scored goals from Rashford and Jadon Sancho to tie the score at two goals apiece.
Brenden Aaronson's free kick, which missed the post, gave Leeds a chance to tie the score at 3-3.
David de Gea, the United goalkeeper, was furious because Rashford and Varane had turned their backs and separated from the wall.
Former United forward Owen expressed his confusion over the incident and called Rashford and Varane's actions "criminal.".
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Owen said: 'I couldn't believe it, I couldn't believe this wall.
'Look a this the way they split – Varane and Rashford they just split – the ball goes low, right through the middle, it didn't go over the wall at all.
'If that goes in, and they both turn away, that's criminal, that's criminal. I mean, if that goes in there's serious, serious words being had after.'
After an early goal from Wilfried Gnonto and an own goal by Varane gave Leeds the lead, United appeared to be in danger of losing the match.
To earn a point at Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag's team, though, displayed good spirit.
Ten Hag is conscious of the fact that his team won't always be able to get away with such a sluggish start. When Manchester United plays Leeds again on Sunday, they'll be motivated to win all three games.
'You simply cannot do that. You need to be big, brave and bold in a wall and to turn your back and split – everything you cannot do they did there.
'They've got away with it. They better look at that and think, 'wow, that's pretty embarrassing, we can't do that again'.'
