Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, has acknowledged that during the first half of Wednesday night's 3-1 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates, the Gunners were superior.
The Spaniard has acknowledged that he had to alter his team, though.
Before Bukayo Saka's penalty-stroke equalizer, City's Kevin De Bruyne had scored the game's first goal.
After the break, the champions secured the three points thanks to Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland.
“In the first half, Arsenal were much better than us. We were not intense enough, maybe because I changed something. In the second half, we were much more aggressive and much, much better.
“They didn’t get that extra man in midfield that they can create.
“Kyle, Manu, Ruben and Nathan, they made an extraordinary effort to control Saka, Martinelli and Nketiah,” Guardiola told BBC.
