In response to criticism, Mykhailo Mudryk sends a cryptic message as a Chelsea player.
Mykhailo Mudryk received criticism for his involvement in Chelsea's loss to Borussia Dortmund, so he posted a mysterious message to his Instagram story in response.
Shortly after the German team took the lead in the second half of the Champions League round of 16 first-leg, the 22-year-old was replaced by Mason Mount.
The Blues had a corner, and as the ball was cleared, Dortmund hit the visitors on the counter-attack, making Karim Adeyemi the deciding factor between the two teams. After gliding past Enzo Fernandez and Kepa Arrizabalaga, the striker slid around the goalkeeper and placed the ball into an open goal.
Adeyemi was closest to Mudryk when the ball broke, but he failed to contain the player, leaving Chelsea open. After the game, Joe Cole was extremely critical of the Ukrainian international, insisting that he share some of the responsibility for the goal.
Given the various criticisms he has received, Mudryk has posted a message to his Instagram story promising to strengthen his form.
He composed on his social media platform: "I am here to show what a Ukrainian man is. A warrior. A warrior loves challenges.
"A warrior is born to overcome challenges. Nothing obsesses so much, the man who put everything on the line, as a victory. A warrior can on his way lose battles, but in the end the warrior wins."
