At the Central Bank of Nigeria office in Lagos on Wednesday, February 22, where the materials were kept, the state's resident electoral commissioner, Olusegun Agbaje, confirmed this to journalists. According to Agbaje, all the materials would be delivered on Wednesday to the LGAs, where the final distributions on election day would be made by the electoral officers from each council.
According to him, the fact that all political parties were invited to the distributions demonstrated that Lagos State had enough election-related supplies.
According to CP Idowu Owohunwa, the commissioner of police for the state of Lagos, the exercise was part of the police's responsibility to ensure the security of voters, electoral materials that were in use or in transit, INEC officials, and observers.
At the distribution ceremony, there were ten representatives from political parties. They consist of the Action Alliance, the Action Democratic Party, the African Action Congress, the All Progressives Congress, and the Allied Peoples Movement. The Young Progressive Party, Labour Party, National Rescue Movement, New Nigeria Peoples Party, and Peoples Democratic Party are among the others.
