According to reports, Lionel Messi hurt his hamstring during the team's 2-1 Coupe de France match defeat to bitter rivals Olympique de Marseille.
Messi did, however, play the full 90 minutes in the midweek game that saw PSG eliminated from the Cup competition.
Messi will receive medical care for the next 48 hours, PSG said in a statement this afternoon, and he is anticipated to start training again on Monday.
The first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal matchup against Bayern Munich is on Tuesday, which means he might be available. Uncertainty surrounds whether he will start the match on the field or the bench.
