Carlo Ancelotti is set to take of Brazil national team according to ESPN.
The Italian boss is still under contract with Real Madrid but his future at the Santiago Bernabéu is in doubt given his recent performance with the team.
If he fails to win any of the major trophies (Copa del Rey, Champions League, La Liga) this season, Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, may come under pressure this summer.
The new Brazil national team coach, Carlo Ancelotti, reportedly said "yes" to the position, according to ESPN. After the World Cup is over, the contract would expire in 2026 and begin in June 2023.
Ancelotti was publicly questioned about taking the position at the conclusion of 2022 and politely declined the offers, reiterating his dedication to the Real Madrid cause.
The former Milan manager, according to ESPN Brazil, has since had a change of heart and has pledged to the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) that he will take over as the team's first-ever foreign head coach.
Ancelotti's contract would run from July 2023 to the end of August 2026, following the conclusion of the World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. It has been learned that nothing has been signed and that personal terms have not yet been decided.
The Santiago Bernabéu will continue to employ Ancelotti through the summer of 2024.
ESPN Brazil reports that Vincius Jnior, Rodrygo, and Eder Milito, three Brazilian players for Madrid, have been informed of the developments and are willing to work with the Italian at the international level, though they are disappointed to lose him as their club manager.
Ancelotti is currently in Morocco getting ready for the FIFA Club World Cup championship match between Real Madrid and Al Hilal.
While he has won five league championships and four Champions Leagues during his managerial career, which has included stints at Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain in addition to Madrid and Milan, a win on Saturday would mark his second in that particular competition.
