Manchester City faces point deduction and possible ejection after breaking financial fair play rules

If the Premier League penalizes Manchester City for breaking financial fair play rules, the club won't be able to file an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

If the Premier League fines Manchester City for violating financial fair play standards, the club will be unable to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, CAS.

UEFA found in 2020 that City had engaged in "severe violations" of Financial Fair Play (FFP) laws between 2012 and 2016.

UEFA banned the Etihad club from European club tournaments for two years.

After City apparently directed attorneys to challenge every judgment, CAS finally reversed the verdict.

However, The Times reports that this will not be the case this time since Premier League regulations prohibit CAS intervention on this occasion.

If Man City is found guilty, they might face punishment like as a point deduction or possibly ejection.
