Newcastle United winger Miguel Almiron has signed a new three-and-a-half year contract

Prior to this weekend's crucial Carabao Cup final against Manchester United, Newcastle announced on Friday that they had signed Miguel Almiron to a new three-and-a-half year contract.

Almiron had a career-best season at St. James' Park, and as a result, he signed a contract extension that runs through the summer of 2026.

In the crucial Carabao Cup final on Sunday, The Magpies will reportedly take on Manchester United.

With 10 goals in the league so far, Almiron is having a career-best season under Eddie Howe.

In January 2019, Almiron moved from Major League Soccer team Atlanta United to Newcastle.

The playmaker has had a successful stretch this season, taking home the Premier League Player of the Month and Goal of the Month honors for the month of October.
