By defeating Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley, Manchester United snapped a six-year trophy drought.
Casemiro scored the game's first goal with a header in the 33rd minute, and six minutes later, Marcus Rashford made it 2-0 with a deflected shot as Erik ten Hag won his first championship as manager of Manchester United.
