What Kylian Mbappe said after knee injury sustained against Montpellier

Kylian Mbappe latest injury doesn't look good for PSG after he was substituted just before half time against Montpellier on Wednesday night.

After going two games without a win in the French league, Paris Saint-Germain returned to winning ways.

Despite missing two penalties in the first half, the Parisians defeated Montpellier tonight and earned all three points thanks to Kylian Mbappé.

Jeremie Pignard, the referee, gave PSG a penalty after Sergio Ramos was fouled, and Mbappé took the shot but missed.

The 24-year-old striker had another opportunity to make up for his earlier error, but he once again missed the net from the penalty spot.

Hugo Ekitike had to replace the Frenchman after he was hurt a little while later.

It doesn't look good for Mbappé or PSG, who will also have to worry about Ramos' fitness, with a crucial match against Bayern Munich coming up in two weeks.

Mbappé's ailment is still not fully known, but based on what he stated, he might miss the opening leg of PSG's Champions League round of 16 match.

After leaving the pitch, Mbappé reportedly said "Oh, I'm in too much pain", with his coach Christophe Galtier now confirming that the player "took a blow to the knee or behind the thigh"
