One of the first players to welcome Jorginho to the club after the former Chelsea midfielder switched to north London on deadline day was Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The 31-year-old joined Leandro Trossard and Jakub Kiwior at the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners' third January addition after agreeing to a £12 million transfer.

In order to strengthen Mikel Arteta's team from a position of strength at the top of the Premier League, the Premier League leaders spent a total of £52 million last month. Arsenal will be hoping that the newcomers can add quality and experience to the team.

Arteta must decide who will take penalties at the Emirates Stadium, but the man who currently does so, Bukayo Saka, was ready to welcome the Italian midfielder to the team when they were photographed together upon his arrival in London Colney, where Arsenal trains.

Zinchenko was one of the individuals who welcomed Jorginho into the team. The Ukrainian defender joined Arsenal from Manchester City last summer, and despite his recent injury troubles, Arteta has found him to be an important member of the team. Due to his dedication to the group and his ability to lead, Zinchenko has emerged as one of the squad's most likable individuals.

Jorginho can use his success in capturing trophies to help Arsenal compete with City for the crown, and Arteta is hoping he can have a similar effect. Jorginho was greeted by Zinchenko in an unpleasant exchange at the practice field on his first day as an Arsenal player.

Before Zinchenko insisted the £12 million signing walk through first, the two players greeted one another politely and held open a door at the training complex entrance. The club's excellent environment was highlighted in the video as the Gunners continue to contend for the Premier League and Europa League.

The 31 years old midfielder could make his debut for Arsenal in their away trip to Everton on Saturday afternoon.
