Tottenham have parted ways with Antonio Conte with 10 games remaining in the Premier League season.
According to reports, Tottenham decided to sever the Italian's relationship with the club after he criticized his players for being "selfish" during their 3-3 draw with Southampton.
After managing Spurs for 16 months, Conte was fired after a bizarre tirade at his team against Southampton after they blew a 3-1 lead.
If you remember, Tottenham was eliminated from the FA Cup and the Champions League, depriving them of a trophy for an additional season dating back to 2008.
According to Spurs, Cristian Stellini, Ryan Mason's assistant, would serve as interim head coach for the remainder of the season under Conte.
Stellini has experience guiding this Spurs team this season, filling in for Conte during the crucial final Champions League group stage victory against Marseille when he was out on suspension.
Stellini also delivered notable victories in the Premier League over Manchester City, West Ham, and Chelsea, two rivals from London.
