"Arsenal were lucky to beat Bournemouth" - Jurgen Klopp takes swipe at Gunners

Jurgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool, stated on the club's official website that Mikel Arteta's team, Arsenal, was fortunate to defeat Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.

After his Liverpool team destroyed Manchester United 7-0 at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday, Klopp made the remarks about Arsenal and Bournemouth.

At home on Saturday in league play, the Gunners defeated the Cherries 3-2.

The North London club launched a comeback in the second half to defeat Bournemouth 3-2 after Bournemouth had led 2-0 at one point in the game.

Klopp said: “Now we have five days or so of time to prepare for Bournemouth; they were unlucky yesterday against Arsenal not to get a point at least. We have to make sure we are ready for that fight.”

This coming weekend, Liverpool will play Bournemouth away from home in the Premier League.
