Xavi has announced his lineup for the match against Real Madrid, although Pedri is still out.

The team for this weekend's El Clásico has been announced by Barcelona coach Xavi Hernández.

On Sunday night, Barcelona will play their longtime nemesis Real Madrid. According to reports, a Blaugrana win would increase the lead at the top of the Liga standings to a virtually unbridgeable 12 points, while a loss would reduce it to six.

The team's last practice before the game on Sunday night at 9 PM GMT was followed by the announcement of the starting lineup.

Despite having resumed team training this week, Barcelona will be without Pedri. There was some optimism that his hamstring concerns had been allayed.

Barcelona 21 man squad:
Ter Stegen, Araujo, Sergio, Gavi, Lewandowski, Ansu Fati, Ferran, Iñaki Peña, Christensen, Marcos Alonso, Jordi Alba, Kessie, S. Roberto, F. De Jong, Raphinha, Kounde, Eric, Balde, Pablo Torre, Arnau Tenas and Alarcón.
