Bernd Leno, a former Arsenal goalkeeper, has predicted that the team will win the Premier League this season.
After leaving north London in the summer, the Germany international, who currently plays for Fulham, stated that he does not have any "toxic feelings."
Prior to Aaron Ramsdale's replacement by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, Leno was the Emirates' primary goalkeeper.
Leno is predicting that his former team will win the Premier League in 2022-23.
“I don’t have toxic [feelings] or bad energy for Arsenal,” Leno told the Evening Standard.
Asked if he felt Arsenal would go on to win their first top-flight trophy since 2004, Leno added: “I hope they do it, I think they can.”
Leno joined Fulham at the start of the Premier League season after he lost his number one spot to Aaron Ramsdale.
Arsenal will travel to the Craven Cottage this weekend to face their fellow London rival.
Recall that Mikel Arteta side won the first leg at the Emirates stadium last year.
